Philadelphia Independent Film Festival to screen the Philadelphia Premier of

“Feed the Fish” by Mike Matzdorf

Monday June 21st 2010

For Immediate Release

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival is proud to welcome famed  television, film and Broadway star Tony Shalhoub  to Philadelphia at 4pm Monday June 21st 2010 to promote his movie "Feed the Fish" with fellow actor Michael Chernus, and Producer Nicholas Owen Langholff. There will be a special limited seating screening and meet and greet with Tony Shalhoub at the 725  North 4th St. Phila, Pa, 19123  at the Media Bureau in Northern Liberties.

“The unpredictability of the weather in February in Northern Wisconsin surprisingly only set us back one day. On the shoot day of the Polar Bear Plunge there were 60 mile per hour winds, one hundred feet of shards of broken ice shoved up against the shore and snow blowing so hard that it hurt. Tony Shalhoub had promised to go in the water that day. He wasn’t back for the make-up day. Something about a scheduling conflict. He is, however, excited about coming to Philadelphia for the PIFF. Especially because there was no mention of flurries in the extended forecast” - Mike Matzdorff/Director of FEED THE FISH

“This is a great day for the fest and we can’t thank these guys enough for coming down. FEED the Fish is a wonderful heartfelt comedy.  It’s going to be a lot of fun to watch the movie with Tony, Michael, and Nicholas. then hit the open mic afterwards.  Benjamin Barnett, Festival Director
